Meet Mark

Pivot is a premier design-build contractor focused on process, details, timely execution, and positive client experiences. Pivot Construction holds an unlimited residential and commercial license primarily serving the Nashville, Brentwood, and Franklin areas.

Mark Holliday is the President of Pivot, bringing 35 years of experience, has overseen numerous award winning projects featured in Sophisticated Living Magazine, My Southern Home, Houzz, and Urban Nashville, has earned certifications from NARI [Certified Remodeler], from NAHB [Certified Green Professional, Aging in Place Specialist], and won Professional Remodeler of the Year twice prior to moving to Nashville.

Mark’s experience is – bigger is not always better, and he should know. As past President of a local, well-established firm, he saw firsthand the challenges that come with growing a small boutique company into a multi-million-dollar enterprise. That experience has led Mark and his team to form Pivot Construction, with a vision to return to the days when a contractor provides the personal, hands-on experience clients deserve, backed with uncompromising quality, integrity, open communication, and professionalism.

From the luxury high rise condominiums found in downtown Nashville to the quaint farmhouse in Franklin, Pivot and its team of experienced architects and designers will work with you from beginning to end to create a unique and inviting space that will take your breath away.

  • Mark Holliday oversaw the extensive remodeling of our Brentwood, Tennessee home several years ago. Our kitchen was completely redesigned and remodeled; all three of our full bathrooms were updated; our recreation room was updated; wooden flooring was installed throughout; and the master bath had new heated tile floors installed. The team that worked on our home was wonderful, and we were (and are still) delighted with the results. We would work with Mark and his team again.

We enjoyed working with him during a major renovation of the living spaces of our aging Green Hills ranch home and we are still enjoying our kitchen which is now twice its original size and has a higher ceiling, our den which now has a vaulted ceiling and is rid of dormers, our bigger living room which now has a nine foot ceiling and two pretty windows which replaced our ugly multi-paneled single window, a now roomy entry hall and coat closet with nine foot ceilings and our remaining attic space which is rid of wasps. We also appreciated Mark for helping us to remain in the bedroom end of our house for as long as possible.
